Practice Nurses based in our surgery treat patients with a wide range of common conditions and both Nurses are qualified to prescribe from a range of medicine.

Antenatal / Postnatal Clinics / Baby 6 Weeks Check

The practice has an antenatal clinic held every Thursday morning at the surgery. Postnatal appointments should be booked with the female doctor six to eight weeks after having a baby. After registering the baby, you will receive a call to make an appointment for your baby, for a six to eight-week baby check.

Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS)

 

The NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) is a national Advanced Service to refer patients requiring low acuity advice and treatment to community pharmacies.

The service aims to reduce pressure on the primary and urgent care system, particularly Accident and Emergency and GP out of hours. 

Referral to the service can be made by our surgery staff.

If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.

Need help with your muscle or joint problems? 

You can download the MSK getUbetter app. The app will guide you day-by-day through a sequence of exercises and tips to help you get better.

Chaperone Facility

Our Chaperone Policy is designed to prioritize patient safety, dignity, and comfort during clinical examinations and procedures by clearly defining the roles of chaperones, specifying when they should be offered or present, and establishing proper documentation procedures, all in accordance with best practices and professional standards.

Physiotherapy Service

At LMRC, we are proud to offer a physiotherapy service directly within our practice through the PCN ARRS role. Our experienced physiotherapist provides expert care for a wide range of muscle, joint, and movement-related issues, enabling you to receive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment promptly. This service helps you recover faster and more effectively without the need to wait for a hospital referral.

Yellow Fever Vaccination Service

We are a registered Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre providing Yellow Fever vaccines to eligible patients. Yellow Fever is a serious viral disease transmitted by infected mosquitoes in parts of Africa, South America, and Central America. Vaccination is the most effective way to protect yourself and is often a travel requirement for those visiting or returning from affected regions.
